I saw this band live a few weeks ago with Poison and Def Leppard. I had never been into their music before, but went to this show to see the other bands.
But I came away from this show kinda impressed with Cheap Trick. I wasn't blown away or anything - but I did end up ordering one of their Greatest Hits albums the next day.
Anyway ... let's discuss this band. Any fans here? What are their best albums?

By the way, I did search for an active thread on this band, but there weren't any. The only one was in the RIP section. Just so everyone knows.

Love Cheap Trick. I too went to their tour with Poison and Def Leppard, and it was awesome! The greatest hits album is a good place to start, but in my opinion their "essential" albums are Heaven Tonight, Dream Police, and Live At Budokan.

That's great to know! Thanks for the info.
Yes, I agree that it was an awesome show!!!
I've been a Poison and Def Leppard fan for years now. But I had never saw either one of them live before. Def Leppard really had an INCREDIBLE stage presence!!!
Poison was good too, but Def Leppard ROCKED!!!

My favorite song. By far. Rick Nielsen. I hear he’s worth 30 million. Has over 400 guitars in his collection. They fly - under the radar. For sure.
