| Hi everyone! You probably didn't notice, but I was gone for a while. I recently retired from the military after 24 and half years of service, so my family and I have been real busy moving from Japan, our home for the last 15 years, to the great state of Georgia. It's been crazy, but we're finally getting settled. Anyway, it's good to be back and rockin' in the USA. Hopefully, all of you are doing well, healthy and happy.
As far as music is concerned, I'm excited about the rest of this year with some of my favorite bands like Ace Frehley, Megadeth, KISS, Immortal, Ratt, Dream Evil, Rob Zombie and W.A.S.P. all set to release new music. Very cool.

Were you ever able to track down last United album for me [United - Nine]? I still cannot find that cd for sale ANYWHERE on the net for any price. Didn't think that was possible now days.
Did you get the chance to see any Japanese metal bands? Which ones? |

Unfortunately, I did not have an opportunity to see any Japanese heavy metal bands. The bands I did get to see while in Japan are as follows: KISS (Reunion Tour) - Tokyo Dome KISS (Farewell Tour) - Tokyo Dome KISS (Paul, Gene, Peter and Tommy) - Budokan Ozzy - Budokan Judas Priest - Budokan Judas Priest - Pacifico, Yokohama Linkin Park - Budokan Linkin Park is the only band that actually had an opening act. It was a Japanese band, but I could not tell you who they were. Not very memorable. I also saw Joan Jett on a USO tour. She played on the base for free. That was cool. She was really good. | |
