| Alright, I always assumed that it was pronounced just like it looks, but then a few years ago I was reading about the October day from which the band took its name, and I see that the proper pronunciation is "sah-win". And then I began to wonder how the band members themselves pronounce the word. Anyone know? | |

listen to the Initium album. Glenn pronounces it "saa wun". I've heard a few different pronunciations over the years too. Although on the Danzig debut album, in the song 'Soul on Fire', it sorta sounds like Glenn is saying "sam-hain". A google search came up with different variations as well. So to answer your question, SGF, noone knows for sure. Apparently you need to speak fluent ancient Gaelic to pronounce it correctly. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.
