Malmsteen's Alchemy

I was listening to this cd recently after a long time. Personally I think ir is a GREAT cd! Children of the damn is awesome, Leonardo too... well as all Malmsteen's albums is great but nobody talks about it.

What do you guys think about it?

I think its great, but I am a Malmsteen fan. You either love or hate the guy...very little in between, it seems.

Yep, I agree. In my opinion, there is only one boring Malmsteen album and that's Fire and Ice. The only other questionable one (IMO) is War To End All Wars and that's only because of the production, not the material.

I have to agree with Artie and Spec, if you are Malmsteen fan it is great, if you are not a fan this album is not going to change your mind.

I am also a Malmsteen fan and it seems to be general census that 'War to End All Wars' is his worst release, I tend to agree that 'War' is his worst album.

Glad to hear people like this one though as it appears I am going to have to spend $15+ for the Spitfire remaster at the local Newbury Comics.

Malmsteen caused a lot of guitar players in my neighborhood to ditch school and practice

They can shred but spelling is kinda / sorta not thier forte'

I have no idea how easy is now to get Seventh sign, I remember it was pretty difficult for me to get it back then. Alchemy's first release was very cool, with a carton cover and had a poster in it.
I can happily say I have all Malmsteen's studio albums, the last one thanks to my wonderful boyfriend who just get it for me Smile
