Rock Gone Wild, an Iowa based LLC was informed by Diamond Jo Casino, LLC legal counsel on August 5, 2009, that “the event cannot take place anywhere on the licensed premises”.
Due to Diamond Jo Casino, LLC refusing to honor its obligation to provide the venue, we are unable to produce the event as planned. This matter has been referred to legal counsel.

Still up in the air. But I do not care about the damn money. I blew off my chance to see Saxon at Roklahoma, or Houston, or NYC, when they were in the states this summer, because I knew I already had 2nd row for RGW. Although the $1200 would come in handy right about now. TZ - This was to be the first RGW fest. The casino it was at had never had a show of this magnitude. Lots of speculation right now as to whom is to blame. But, overall, this is the biggest cluster"bleep" I have ever witnessed. 1000's of very upset metalheads from all over the world right now. I am only 75 miles from the venue - so I may just go down there 2 weekends from now [when the show was to take place] and make my frustration known.... MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am gonna go crank some Limp Bisquits and break stuff. SUC - Can I borrow your cd? [awesome rip and he will never even read it....haha] |
