| Looks like the movie is starting to work. I went to FYE yesturday and I wasnt even going there. My gf happened to go into Old Navy which is next door and after being bored in Old Navy I said Im goin to FYE. So im looking around and right there sat 2 Anvil cds Hard N Heavy and Metal On Metal. Now im wondering if they will start reprinting the others so they will be available again. _________________ | |

| If you don't have METAL ON METAL already, you should grab it. Cuz as soon as all the hype from the movie fades, I doubt you'll see their stuff in stores anymore. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| The movie helped them already months ago. They have Slayer's management now and that I believe is partly why they are getting the CDs in stores.
Any of you heard "This Is Thirteen" yet? Not over the top but its classic Anvil stuff!

| I saw Metal On Metal at an FYE at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg Illinois a couple of weeks ago. I probably should've picked it up, but I was set on getting Metal Church's "The Dark" from the previous time I was in their store. I'll have to get it next time, as I usually head into Schaumburg a couple of times during the week. | |

| I got all the Anvil albums except for Strength Of Steel. Someone stole it from me on amazon and I wont say who......*Cough Cough* Spec... *Cough* I got This Is Thirteen last week and I honestly think its thier worst one. I dont see the big deal about Chris Tsangeridies (or however you spell his last name) I think hes a horrible producer. Their older stuff sounds way better. _________________ | |

| I've been looking out for Metal On Metal, but I don't think an album like that is going to pop up very often over here. _________________ | |

I saw those in my local FYE as well. I also saw Avenger of Blood in the metal section. Nice job by you, Lurideth. I didn't know you guys had a "big distrubition deal". You must light your cigars with hundred dollar bills now, right? _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Their older stuff sounds way better. I tend to agree with you Wayne. In the movie, the band says what has held them back is bad production on their albums. I have to call BS on that one. With a supposed "professional" production, the new album doesn't hold a candle to the older stuff. This Is Thirteen is one of my least favorites. |

I thought I was the only one who wasnt really liking This Is Thirteen. I gave it a few listens too. From watching the movie the part where they went to EMI and the guy sat and listened to a song I remembering it sounding a lot better than the cd. Maybe I just heard it wrong. Im gonna have to go back to the movie and see. Listen to Speed Of Sound, Absolutely No Alternative, Still Going Strong, and even the first 3 albums they all sound great compared to This Is Thirteen so I never understood why they thought he was the key to their success when obviously hes not. He did produce Judas Priests Painkiller and that is good but he also did Helloweens Pink Bubbles Go Ape and that is probably my least favorite sounding album. The songs hold their own despite the flat production. This guy isnt a Metal producer. Maybe hes hit and miss I dunno but he wouldnt be my first choice to run to. _________________
