Just curious. Do you ever listen to anything recorded in the current year? Not meant as a slam; just wondering. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Occasionally I find something from the present day that I enjoy immensely...but you're not going to find jazz as good as Johnny Griffin unless you time travel back to the late 50's & 60's. |

Thankfully, I played enough jazz in high school competition jazz band to more than cure me of the genre. I actually meant music period, not just jazz. Do you listen to any kind of music recorded this year? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Well, I haven't had money to buy much recently...but I've picked up a few things this year (primarily from older bands though).
Heaven & Hell - The Devil You Know Wino - Punctuated Equilibrium Mastodon - Crack The Skye Neko Case - Middle Cyclone Voivod - Infini Dave Douglas - Spirit Moves (jazz)
etc.
also been spinning an advance copy of "Yob - The Great Cessation" that I'm enjoying quite a bit.
But I'm still working on stuff from the past 10 years that I missed out on. There were many releases in 2007/2008 that interested me, but it's going to take awhile to acquire. |

| Cool. Like I said, I see you post images of older albums and I was just curious if you listened to anything current. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
