I did suggest "Eyes to the Sky" but it's not gonna happen. Would have been a cool song to cover though. It's virtually unknown outside of New Mexico. Cool lyrics too. We are giving "props" to a local band though. We are covering a song by The Moshketeers.

Nahhhh, it's been done. Death pulled off the ultimate cover of this song IMO.

no offense, but unless you have a Halford type voice, stay away from Priest. as much as i like Death, they butcherd that song. just as Kreator & SFU did Grinder. maybe i'm just picky when it comes to Priest.

We worked on 'Steeler' last night and it sounded great. We're going to speed it up a bit, add some double bass, and tune the song down. It's heavy!

We also worked on 'Powersurge'. We're not going to change that one much at all, but I am going to sing it much more aggressively, more like what Blitz would do now, as opposed to the clean vox he used on "Taking Over".

Remember that you have to find find a song that fits better your vocal style. If it doesn't work, try to work with the BON SCOTT'S era

Another thing is the band considering doing another MAIDENS song? You guys did an amazing job selecting a song from PAUL DIANNO's era. If the band does another song, I think that you guys should do another from DIANNO era.

No, we won't be doing any more Maiden, although we may remix "Wrathchild" and included it as a bonus track on this CD as well, since it would fit in quite well.

Gut Wrench is an odd song. It has this raw, tribal feel and is very different from anything Ultimatum has done. We'll see how it works out on Thursday.
