| Is there plans for a live album in the works? Hell, you could record some shows yourself and sell them on the site as Offical Bootlegs! |

| Hey Tink, Left a message for you on another board, but if you need a band to fill in the AM slot on Saturday morning, let us know. We'll be there and don't mind playing twice. I'm singing with Once Dead for a song on Saturday as well. ult _________________ |

| ornerstone California was a BLAST! I was there for both days and watched most of the bands under the Sanctuary tent. Wasn't all that much interested in the bands in the other tents or on the main stages. Highlights for me was, Ultimatum's set, of course. Despite not having out equipment or sound, we put on a good set and the crowd was into it. The tent was packed while we performed and we definitely made some fans that day. We even did an encore. Sharing the stage with ONCE DEAD again, one last time was a blast! Devin and I belting out BURN was really fun. We traded off lines in the song and shared the chorus together. All you thrash fans will love the new material. Picture a mixture of "Once Dead (the album)" and Hirax's "New Age of Terror" with shrieking, metalcore vocals and you will get an idea of their sound. They are even recording the long lost Vengeance Rising song "The Contract". Unfortunately Once Dead's crowd was thin because Underoath were playing on the main stage at the same time. Other bands that blew me away were: GLENN KAISER. Man that guy can play and preach. I loved it. BLOODGOOD. Great performers and nice guys. Oz Fox was a great guy. During the soundcheck, with a full house, someone screamed out "THE WAY" and he started playing it. The crowd in turn, in unison, sang the lyrics. It was so very cool. He played the song all the way through the chorus. Bloodgood were just incredible. Good musicians, performers and songwriters. They opened up with "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin. Les may be in his 60's but he can still belt it out. SOULJOURNERS. Ack, not sure on the spelling, but these progressive rockers were outstanding. TOURNIQUET, of course! Ted and Luke were very cool, both approaching me and saying Hi. RECON. Rod rules! Best singer at the festival, hands down. Seriously though, Rod, did those vice grips hurt? I love Recon. "Slay the Wicked" BARREN CROSS were great, but their set was MUCH too short. Every band was given 45 minutes and they used a lot of time between songs to talk and also Mike Lee did one of his acoustice Mike D.R.I.V.E. songs during the Barren Cross set. Since he played on Friday, I wish he would have kept the acoustic stuff to that set and let Barren Cross be Barren Cross. Otherwise their set was great. They opened with Stage of Intensity. STRANGELAND. OH MY!!!!! Wait til you guys hear them with their new vocalist. They will blow you away. Slightly progressive power metal. I tried to convince Kevin to record their cover of Let the Hammer Fall. I hope they do it. I loved it. EMERALD. Ok, was never a huge fan, but I like them. They put on a good performance. New material sounded good. NEON CROSS. I missed much of their set AGAIN, because I had an interview scheduled with Pastor Bob, however, I did get to see SON OF GOD! YES!!! Brontotex said they put on a spectactular set. SANCTUARY PRAISE. Man, I haven't enjoyed praise and worship so much in a while. I was dancing and raising my hands without care on Saturday during worship. Jim LeVerde is a great worship leader. I got to hook up with my friend Glen Mancaruso as well, as he was their drummer. The best part about these sorts of festivals, however, was just hanging out with everyone. The fellowship was awesome! Got to hook up with old friends, new friends and people I had known from on-line. _________________ |

NO. It was lame. It was just a collection of songs from all their album, a best of, if you will, compiled on a CDR with a sticker on it, and color printouts for covers. Nicely done, I'll grant you, but they were selling them for $18. |
