Received my copy of Lex Metallis from the band. Who else has a copy? What do you think? I personally think this is their best yet, even though it is a cover album. It all sounds like Ultimatum. My favorites are the more obscure songs, Cant Get Out, Gut Wrench, Locked in Chains, Ton of Bricks, and Sin After Sin. I hope this CD does well for them and get them into some new markets.

I like it, but it's not a favorite. There are some really good covers like Can't Get Out, Gut Wrench, Creeping Death, and Powersurge. Ultimatum fans should like it, but I'm just one who generally doesn't like covers albums.

I also really like Metal Health! The first 30 seconds of that song is about the heaviest thing ever esp when those cannon drums and the growl come in!

I know my opinion doesn't really count here, but I am really happy with how this came out. It sounds like an Ultimatum CD despite the fact that we didn't write a single song on it. My favorites include:

Iron Fist
Can't Get Out
Steeler (Robert tore it up on this one!)

Ha! I know what you mean. I've been saying that since I heard the earliest mixes. The heavy guitar tone, the pounding bass, those monsterous drums and that death scream combine to created on heavy opening to that song.

Has anybody received their CDs yet?

I have had my copy for over a week now and cannot stop listening to it. Favorits are still Cant Get Out, Gut Wrench, Locked in Chains, Ton of Bricks, and Sin After Sin but their version of Denim and Leather is a headbanging metal classic!
