I like the logo. The picture makes it look like he's hitting himself in the nads, but that is just my warped viewpoint. I'll buy it regardless.

Probably, but we are going to offend them covering bands like Overkill, Motorhead and Metallica anyhow. As a matter of fact, Mardell's won't be carrying it.

Actually, you guys are getting the idea. (I knew you all would. This board has some knowledgeable metal fans!) The idea came from albums like Too Fast For Love, Sticky Fingers, Balls to the Wall, etc. We wanted that classic metal look, but we wanted to make it Ultimatum style, just like the songs we are covering. Don't forget, this is an all covers album paying tribute to classic metal and thrash bands.

At the same time, it's not like it's a shot of a penis or something. It's bullet belts, spike wrist band, denim and leather. That's the idea.

Fair enough. I'm not familiar with Mardell's, but I'll assume it's a Christian retail store of some sort. I've got no problem with it. Looks metal enough for me. Looking forward to hearing some new tunes from you guys.

Its probably too late for this suggestion, but I say just call it metal is law instead of lex metallis. Oh and the Ultimatum logo looks a bit on the plastic side instead of mettalic....

Sweet cover, Scott. I like the logo, too - has a cool 3-D feel to it. Granted, that "plastic" look has been done to death, but it still looks cool!

I don't think too many Christians will think anything of it, especially
the metal fans. So far, the comments on the CMR have been universally
positive. My grandmother would have had all SORTS of issues with it, of
course. lol!
