| I love the new cover! Totally dig the retro-80's metal look and the weathered appearance of the cover! Awesome job! Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive mind.

| Overall i think it's a cool idea but i can also see what it may "suggest" to some. It's definately not as "homo erotic" as Udo on the cover of Balls to the Wall... it's more of a manly Too Fast For Love vibe. And for the record i like the bloody fist pic better than the all green. A more metallic shine on the ult logo would be cool too, like Tourniquet's Stop The Bleeding. Just my 2 cents... |

| Whatever ya go with is fine to me....hope it does well enough for this also to be pressed to vinyl. Can't wait to blast it though. For what it's worth, Sax's idea regarding pics of Ult-heads sporting thier shirts and/or ink is top shelf stuff. Laterz |

| I like Saxon's idea too, but it won't happen this time around. Retroactive originally wanted to release this CD as a digi-pack with no booklet. We didn't want that so we convinced them to go for an 8-page booklet in a regular CD case because we are writing extensive liner notes about each of the songs being recorded. _________________ |

| The comments from Firestream have been interesting: | Quote: | Exodus: I'm trying to figure out whether the person in the picture is "Too Fast For Love," or has "Sticky Fingers."
Seriously though, I like it. Very cool. |
Ahhhhh, see now you are getting the idea. Others have also said, Exciter - Heavy Metal Maniac, Accept - Balls to the Wall, WASP - Animal, etc. That was the idea I was trying to get. We are playing homage to old school metal, only doing it Ultimatum style. Thanks for the comment.
| Quote: | grindboy: Um, it has kind of a cool look to it overall, but am I the only one who kind of thinks that it looks like it's zooming in on the dude's . . . er . . . package? |
How do you know it's a guy?
No I don't see it as zooming in on a guys package. It's not like there is a cucumber wrapped in tinfoil and stuffed into the pants. It's denim, it's leather, it's spikes and bullet belts, it's metal.
| Quote: | gh0stri8er: The fist is just too close to the crotch.. for a christian album cover. |
Just an FYI, this album is mostly secular covers. Of the 13 tracks, 3 of them are covers of Christian bands, The Moshketeers, Vengeance Rising and Mortification. This CD is being marketed in the secular market and won't be carried by the Christian stores this time around.
Personally, I don't see anything "unChristian" about this cover. As I said above, it's denim, it's leather, it's spikes and bullet belts, it's metal.
| Quote: | Grief: Hahahahaahha
I really like it to be honest (especially the first version) it looks old school and thrash. the only thing you should get rid of (in my opinion) is the 3Dness of the logo. |
Thanks. That's what we were going for. This CD will be a mixture of half thrash songs and half classic metal songs. There's Overkill and Vengeance Rising, but also Judas Priest and Iron Maiden._________________ |

| Personally I like the first of the two pics more, if you are going for the tattered / worn look on the sleeve then I don't think the color suits the hand lookling lifelike. So I'd go for the all green version. as for the title, Id buy it but I don't like the font that's used. |

| Funny how it's usually the so-called "hardline" Christians who are first to interpret everything as having some sort of sexual meaning. |

| I think the artwork is awesome. I like the green cover a little better than the one with red in it. And the idea of the song listings on the back being in each original band's fonts is kinda cool, too. And thanks so much for insisting on a booklet in a jewel case! Digipaks suck. |
