Roxx Records is proud to announce a very special limited edition reissue of the long out of print second full length release from New Mexico’s very own thrash master’s… Ultimatum.

Puppet of Destruction was originally released over 10 years ago via Rowe Productions/Diamante and has long since been out of print. Now and for a limited time only you can pick up a very special pressing of this thrash masterpiece! And if you think you have already heard this release…think again!!!!

This release has been completely redone and remastered to perfection, with levels adjusted and instruments tweaked, this will be a true pleasure to the ears for you Ultimatum fans that have long been asking for it!!! This release will also contain 3 bonus tracks added to the mix to really make this a very special release! The 3 bonus tracks included consists of an alternative mix of 'Never'[i],[/i]from the original ‘Puppet of Destruction’ sessions along with a newly re-recorded version of 'Mortal Stomp' and closing out the disc is the much sought after Testament cover 'Sins of Omission'.

But wait, that still is not enough for you die hard Ultimatum fanatics?? Alright then, what if we throw in exclusively with all the pre-orders a truly exclusive one time only bonus disc of the entire 'Fatal Delay' demo which has been long out of print and has never been made available on CD before, until now!!!

I got so carried away by the votes and LEX METALIX album delay, that I forgot about the re-release of this album. I just made my pre-order. I hope I ordered on time to get my fatal delay demo. :metal:

We are not remixing this, so the limitations of the 90's digital production and mix are still there. However, the overall sound is much improved. It's beefier and has more bottom end. I like what I heard. We are also including three extra tracks, the original version of "Never" that got us signed to Rowe Productions and "Sins of Omission", which we recorded around the same time and at the same studio. The final track is a new version of "Mortal Stomp" recorded at the same studio we recorded Into the Pit, Til the End and Lex Metalis.

The Fatal Delay demo will not be remastered. We want it to sound exactly as it was. It was a demo and needs to stay that way. However, this will be the first time it is available on CD.

Yes, the booklet will omit the lyrics in favor of liner notes from myself, Steve Rowe, Bill Bafford of Roxx and our own Kmorg. There are also a ton of photos of the band from this era of the band.

time in the history of Ultimatum. The demo also features the first two
songs that Robert and I ever wrote together in Plea for Holiness and
Fatal Delay. Plea for Holiness never went past the demo stages, but
Fatal Delay was recorded again for the Symphonic Extremities release.
The demo section features an extended middle section that is a bit too
long IMO, which is why we cut it down when we recorded it again the
second time. The 2-CD version will also include a 4" x 4" insert of the
artwork from Fatal Delay. That cover was designed in Photoshop in 1993.

I am very thankful to kmorg from Metal-Metropolis, Steve Rowe from
Mortification and Bill Bafford of Roxx Productions for the liner notes
and thoughts on this release. It's nice to know that something we
recorded over a decade ago is still remembered by others.[/quote]

Great job, guys -this gets more exciting the more you reveal! You're packing in a lot of different goodies on this one, too, to make it well worth everyone's money! I imagine quite a few people will be buying it a second time, so it's awesome to see such value added!
