nice reviews bro....

The show you were refering to in the Guardian review was actually "Metal Midnite". All of the His Festivals were held in Fontana. I am only saying something so you can correct it, not to be a "know-it-all".

Y'know I double checked that before I posted it. I have a bootleg tape of the Guardian Show from the HIS Festival dated 6/27/1987..... That was the first... Metal Midnites occured around Halloween if memory serves correctly. in 87 there was the HIS Festival, Metal Mardi Gras and Metal Midnite in that order...

I'm totally open for correction but that is what my info says....

The issue isn't who or when bro, it's where. Don (Kieth Miles) did all three His Fest's in Fontana. Your review stated Riverside and that is where he did the Metal Midnite shows, and yes they were done 'round Halloween time. That is what I was correcting. Guardian played at both the first Metal Midnite and the first His Fest. I helped out with a major portion of the sound production at all the Metal Midnite and His Fest shows from setting up the PA, monitor and backline to running the board if a band didn't have a person to do so. As well as played at a few of them in different bands I was either in or filled in at the last moment.

The issue is where and the Where is Riverside.... the HIS 1 was in Riverside is what I'm saying... that first gig was called a HIS festival Soldier played at it.... The bootleg tape I speaking of was Dave Johnson (also of White Throne) he bootlegged almost the entire festival and labled them appropriately...

The Metal Midnight took place in Fontana... The second HIS festival was 2 days the following year in Fontana... I was at those shows working with Soldier when they played or with White Throne...

WE NEED DEFINITIVE PROOF/EVIDENCE !!!!! A Flier anyone????
