Destruction- The Curse Of The Antichrist

German thrash metal veterans DESTRUCTION are currently putting together a double live album, "The Curse Of The Antichrist - Live In Agony", to be released sometime this summer. Check out the cover artwork below.



That artwork alone is worth just getting this cd for. Wow!

Sorry, but that covers looks about as mature as Destruction ever got (not a compliment).

I'm not a Destruction fan but the cover looks like fun to me

I read a comment somewhere that in the picture the "mad butcher" guy is killing the Kreator mascot. I think it might be true because when i saw Destruction play a show back around when they reunited with Schmier he was telling us something derogatory about Kreator. It was before Kreator did their "Violent Revoltion" comeback album.

Troublezone its possible. I did see someone else post that else where too. It looks an aweful lot like Kreators mascot. But do both bands have bad blood with eachother?

uh-huh, i read that. it's also their 3rd. Alive Devastation was sloppy & played like a band who had nothing to prove. a far cry from Live Without Sense.

I never heard Alive Devastation but I have heard Live Without Sense and I thought that sounded bad.

When i was 15-16 i would have bought that album for that kind of artwork but now i see things different. I'm more concerned if the music within is any good.

Anyone notice the misspelling on the cover? It should be Live in Agony, not Life in Agony. (I'm assuming this was a typo, and the designer thought of Life of Agony.)
