TIme Warp on Discovery Channel

Anyone else watch this show? It's pretty cool, but I'm plugging it on a music forum for one reason. Metallica is the featured guest this Wednesday. See James sing in super-high speed. Watch Lars be extra douchey. Marvel at Robert duck-walking in super slo-mo. Hear Kirk say nothing.

Seriously, anyone thats seen the show knows it's pretty cool. Adding some metal to it only makes it better. Like adding a 6-pack to your pizza delivery.

It is a cool show (not as cool as Mythbusters, of course, mainly because "Time Warp" doesn't employ a hot chick)... will have to check out this Metallica episode.

Kari Byron is a babe!! And they overhyped the whole Metallica Time Warp thing, it wasn't that great. They really butchered Hammet's line "Wow, I've never seen my fingers move that slow".

The Metallica thing was really just an opportunity for the show to really kiss Metallica's collective a$$. I wonder if Elektra Records is somehow tied to the Discovery Channel?

I haven't watched it yet, but I did have some doubts about having Metallica on there. Considdering the topics and subjects they usually cover, a band seemed like an odd choice to shoot in super slo-mo.

Not a problem. I'm a fan of the show otherwise and since it's tivo'ed, I just *blip* *blip* through the uninteresting stuff.

I watched it last night. I thought it was very cool. Watching the hammer ons and pull offs by Kirk and the drum deformations were pretty awesome.

I caught some of this show. It is very cool to see things in slow motion. Some dude cutting pig meat with a sword. That was interesting.

I still haven't watched the Metallica episode, but the show itself is pretty fascinating. Seeing a MMA fighter take a punch to the face in super-slo-mo was really cool.
