Rank this metal CD I made for a friend (not on this board)

I even made an album cover for it. I learned one of the songs on guitar this afternoon, and my guitar teacher takes a look at the album (I plan to send it off tomorrow). He looks at the cover, sees the girl there, and says, "She's hot." Either way, my friend will be very happy to get the album when it comes in the mail.

Interesting tracklist.

That is a pretty cool tracklist. I'm curious, how do you make that double s in Accuser ?

pretty good selection of songs. i'd have left off Fates Warning though.

Too bad the post office was closed today. I was sure they were open on Saturdays, but I guess I was wrong. I'll send the album on Monday. I'm sure he will like it.

No, but he likes metal quite a bit, and I thought I'd get him into some more bands.

I find people very rarely appreciate compilations nearly as much as the person who made it. I bought a CD burner when they first came on the market; and I was handing out compilations like crazy for awhile. Pretty soon people started running the other way when they saw me coming. While I grooved to every song on the disc; I found that the best I could hope for was to turn a friend onto one or two of the bands; it was unrealistic to expect them to like the whole thing as much as I did. I feel the same way about compilations people give me. They are a good learning tool for finding what I like or don't like, but rarely do I play the whole thing again for pure entertainment value. I hope your friend loves it, but that doesn't happen too often, at least not in my world:roll:
