My Dad's AC/DC Compilation

My dad is 62 years old today. He's a disgruntled Wal-Mart employee ready to retire and he asked me to make him an AC/DC compilation. I suppose he has succumbed to the overexposure of the band at his store.

Start naming some songs you think MUST go on this compilation.

Good call one of the early AC/DC concert favorites.

"Rising Power" is a must, as well as "Black Ice," which is one of AC/DCs finest moments ever, if you ask me. And though people dislike the album, I'd say "Damned" is very worthy.

Oh, and "Badlands." Kick-ass tune.

Ain't no Fun (Waiting Around to be a Millionaire)

"Rising Power" is great as well and deserves to be on a compilation IMO. Never really knew why some people dislike "Flick Of the Switch". It's a great album.

If i was making a comp the first song i would put on is Ride On (Bon Scott and AC/DC's finest moment), and then some of these........

Flick of the Switch should be a classic AC/DC album. Every song could have been a hit. I might be new to the whole AC/DC thing, but that album is smokin. No idea why it wasn't huge.

The only AC/DC song that I absolutely hate. It's a terrible tune, if you ask me.

I totally agree. I remember hearing this album when I was young, and since it didn't have that radio friendly song, I probably dismissed it, along with the fact that many never gave its due. I got it this year after getting on the AC/DC thread that had to do with their most underrated. I ended up listening to the album on youtube, and then got it soon after. I think part of me must have been brain dead in the 80's.
