Sales Figures

I know you can go to RIAA's site and look up gold & platinums, but is there any place to find out how many albums sold exactly (say 33,000, 412,000, etc...)?

I know Metal Sludge used to post stuff like that years ago and I always wondered where they got that info. Sometimes I just try googling an album's name and "sales" but that often doesn't turn up actual numbers.

You can pay for an account at Soundscan or whatever. Not worth it, of course. Wikipedia sometimes lists this stuff.
