Anyone here ever try to get in a metal concert...

...when they were underage, and the show had an age limit?

What band was it, and were you successful or not? If not, how did you react? Did you put up a fight, or did you accept the word no as an answer? How old were you at the time?

sure, it was a Cannibal Corpse show. i was 13 & there was an "18 or over" age rule. i made it inside through a side door my buddies older brother opened for us. we were caught within mins though. they tried to hold us while they actually called the police on us. we took off though.

During my teen years, my best friends uncle owned the world famous
First Avenue. So all we had to do was go to the "Talent" door and
they let us right in. We had to stay on the side of the stage if
it was a beer show, but I saw dozens of great shows from there that I
would not have been able to otherwise.

Do you mean Prince's First Avenue? I saw Wendy-O Williams there (half porn, half metal) when I was very young, but I think legal. I also saw David Yow of Jesus Lizard do his bottomless act there, and I believe I was shocked because I think it was an "all ages" show if I remember. Could be wrong; but that's the way I remember it. All these teenage girls looking at Yow's (little) Lizard. Yuk.

i got into a whitesnake concert when i was 15 and the minimum age was 16 aren't i a rebel?

We don't have age limits here, so I had to do other things which weren't allowed when I was under 18

In Spain, holland and Hungary their are no age limites either. Never had any problems at any concert because my age.

I once went in to an Arch Enemy show for 16 year olds when I was 15. Rebellion! Serious point though, if age limits were properly enforced at gigs over here in the UK, my concert going forays would have been severely limited.

When I was in high school Twisted Sister were playing in a club near my home. I wanted sooooo bad to go see them. I wasn't old enough. However, I sat behind the club and listened to the music, even though it was little more than rumble.

I did get to see them on them a year later at the Tower Theater in Philly opening for Dio at an all ages show.

yep there are no age limits over here the same and i am 18 anyhow so it does not matter anymore. last concert i went to was sanctity, gojira, annihilator and trivium and dave padden from annihilator acknowledged me when i gave him the horns which was cool
