I actually like some Alkaline Trio but I've read that this new one doesn't continue their obsessions with death and dying lyrics.

They used to be like a gothic power/pop band which was unique.

I'm not too hip on the upcoming releases. I usually hear about on the boards after they come out. I recently picked up the new Dokken and Whitesnake due to the hype and I was not let down. I am really looking forward to the new Iced Earth though.
