Hi which bands or memebers of metal bands are real satan worshippers?Like for instance the singer Cronos from Venom?Just curious.thanks

As for the answer to your question, that is going to be hard to answer. Who are "real" Satanist? King Diamond claims to be one. I don't think Cronos from Venom claims to be any more than a metal musician in a metal band. The Satan stuff is part of their shtick.

What about Altar...they seem pretty hardcore...I guess allot of them "appear" to be.

its usually just a part of the imagery. i dont think any band is goona sneek of into the woods at midnight to worship the devil do you?

Just about all of them do it for show.

I know there are some that are genuine Satanists, in that they follow a sort of Anton Levay sort of Satanism. King Diamond is one. Some claim to be Wiccans. Not sure all that entails. I don't think it's easy to know what an artists truly believes unless they are vocal about it. Many, if not most of the artists who sing about "satanic" stuff are doing so as part of the show, so to speak. ( ie. Slayer and Venom)

Actually in some interviews from the past (and even in a song on 9) King has admitted to actually being an athiest. He doesn't believe in God therefore he doesn't believe in the devil. He just likes to pull the wool over our eyes. Now Glenn Benton, that is another matter altogether (IMO Deicide is a boring, run of the mill, by the numbers death metal band anyways).
