Today it's 16th anniversary without the Fox who've been with KISS a longest time than Peter Criss. To me he was a really great drummer. One of the best! He was a great singer too.

One of rock & roll's greatest and nicest guys, by all accounts I've heard.

He had some really fun drum solos. There was one on YouTube that I saw a long time ago, I think it at a show towards the late 80s and it was a light show/electronic drum solo. Really cool stuff, but I can't find it anymore.

I saw the last show of the HOT IN THE SHADE tour at Madison Square Garden in the Fall of '90. After he passed I realized that I had therefore witnessed Eric's last show EVER. Kinda spooky; that said, Eric Carr's drum solo that night was the only one I ever sat through by ANY drummer in its entirety. He was a monster!!

If we're gonna throw out props to Eric Carr then we oughta be throwing props to Freddie Mercury as well. If memory serves, they only died a day or so apart from one another. That was a very rough week for rockers!!

Creatures Of The Night is a classic album. People prefered Lick It Up 'cuz they changed everything.
