I just today saw this. I love Silent Hill. I've never played or even seen the video game it's based on but it doesn't matter because I think this film is a creepy thrill ride and one you only gradually begin to understand. It took me a few viewings to totally grasp the plot but essentially it's a much more graphic and extended Twilight Zone episode.

I saw Silent Hill in the theater and own it on DVD (and used to own the game). I haven't watched it in a while. I may have to dig that out.

Church rummage sale today; as usual I was more interested in CDs but what few they had were mostly crap. I brought home a few DVDs for fifty cents apiece though, so it wasn't a total waste of a trip.

Thrift store DVD:
Star Wars Eps. IV, V, and VI - 6 disc set, DVD and Blu-Ray of each movie. I already owned Empire and Jedi on DVD, but I couldn't pass this set up so dirt cheap. Paid $1.00, it goes for about $70 new on Amazon. SCORE!

This is the 4K version of the film. I found it in the $5 bin at Wal Mart, so I thought "Why not?" You're right, this is the third version I have of TCM. The other two are a version that I think is OOP and a blue-ray version as well.

Our Local Dollar Tree store got a sh*t ton of DVDs in so I picked up a couple that looked promising...
Alien Domicile (looks absolutely crap-tacular)
The November Man (w/Pierce Brosnan, I've seen it before, it's pretty good!)
Oculus (not 100 percent sure but I think I've seen this before)
Terminal (never heard of it, but Margot "Harley Quinn" Robbie is in it and I'll watch her in anything)

I had to look up "Alien Domicile" on IMdb. First review I read said this:
This is a sort of zombies meet aliens film which made very little sense. I debated bailing after 10 minutes, but I kept think it would improve - it didn't. The characters were totally flat and lacked credibility.
In other words right up the ol' FF alley. IMdb also listed a sequel which you know has to be even worse.
