25 Great Albums of the 80's You Might Have Missed

So we haven't had one of these in awhile. A new website, The Wild 80's, has posted a list of great hard rock/metal albums that may have been overlooked. My first glance at the list and I said "Well, hell, I heard of and/or owned plenty of these". So maybe we here at the HoM (ie music geeks) aren't exactly the target audience. Anyhow, here's the list were can all debate/dissect for a few days. Enjoy!

Well, I've definitely missed a lot of these. I don't think I have the time to go through all, but I'll bookmark.

I only own a couple of those bands/albums, but I have at least a passing familiarity with most of 'em

I have eight of those:

Alcatrazz (on vinyl)
Black n Blue
Hurricane (great album)
Icon
Kick Axe (on vinyl)
Malice
Pretty Maids
Smashed Gladys (this one's a CLASSIC in my book)

The rest I either haven't heard or have heard and am not interested in.

I own 8 or 9 of those. Man, the 80's are so rich with amazing metal.

Over the last few years, my music shopping was mainly focused on finding and buying rare 80's gems. I managed to score quite some amazing finds.

As of late last year, i took the firm decision to limit my shopping to new releases by my favourite bands, almost exclusively.

I own 20 of the 26.

I have 7 of those and have either heard or at least know of most of them. Would love to pick up more of them eventually.
