I chose the Hatchet in a close vote. I own 2 albums from each band (MH- the S/T and Flirtin' with Disaster; Blackfoot - Strikes and Tomcattin') but I love the first Molly Hatchet the most. I have a vivid memory of sleeping on the beach with my girlfriend (now my wife) a number of years ago and listening to Dreams I'll Never See. Creeper is probably my fave song between the two bands.

Good timing with this poll as I've been in a southern rock mood for several weeks now. I have a comp of Skynyrd (all eras), The Outlaws, The Allmann Brothers, Marshal Tucker Band, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, Charlie Daniels Band and a few others and I've been playing that thing constantly.

Anyway, I went with the Hatchet. For me, the only Blackfoot album I really, really like is "Strikes" whereas I really, really like the first TWO Hatchet albums and the third one with a different vocalist is still pretty good. But for me both those bands get pretty spotty after those respective albums for each band.

So for me Molly Hatchet wins this poll by the score of 2.75 to 1.00
