"Fast Eddie" Clarke of Motorhead and Fastway fame has passed away at the age of 67. R.I.P., sir.

From Motorhead's official FB:

We are devastated to pass on the news we only just heard ourselves earlier tonight...Edward Allan Clarke - or as we all know and love him Fast Eddie Clarke - passed away peacefully yesterday. Ted Carroll (who formed Chiswick Records) made the sad announcement via his FB page, having heard from Doug Smith that Fast Eddie passed peacefully in hospital where he was being treated for pneumonia...

Phil Campbell said, "JUST HEARD THE SAD NEWS THAT FAST EDDIE CLARK HAS PASSED AWAY. SUCH A SHOCK, HE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS ICONIC RIFFS AND WAS A TRUE ROCK N ROLLER. RIP EDDIE."

Very early on I saw FASTWAY in concert. " Say What You Will" tour.
They were openers for someone big. Maybe Dio.
That particular album came out in 1983.
It was an instant heavy metal radio show hit. Like "Balls to the Wall".
So many songs were hitting the big time " Metal Health" was one.
"Looks that Kill" - and here was the Fastway song.
They must of played it, because Eddie was originally from Motorhead.
Loved Fastway's material too.
Waiting for the Roar - is my favorite release. Great guy.
