On a somewhat related note, it was school picture day this week for my 12 year old, and he wore a classic Misfits "Crimson Ghost" skull-logo tee shirt:



Though I'm actually kind of proud of this non-conformist move, (I wish I had been that cool when I was 12), it wasn't on purpose -- he forgot that it was picture day and honestly, so did my wife and I.

That said, I can't wait to give my Mom a copy of the pics when we get them. When *I* was a kid, she always made sure my brother and I were wearing our neat, collared Le Tigre golf shirts and/or Members Only jackets on school picture day. Naturally, I often thought about ditching that shirt on my way to the bus stop and changing into a Metallica or Overkill tee, but I never did cuz I knew it would not go over well when the photos came back.

So ... Grandma's gonna sh*t a pickle when she sees this year's Grandson picture!

Looks like MSG won't be the last Misfits show after all. Philly may be next.
Too bad we haven't seen MetalGuy71 around here in a while, he would probably be able to confirm.

In what may or may not be an effort to raise money for a new Misfits album, Jerry Only appears to be selling off the royalty rights to the Misfits' 1990s catalog (i.e. the ones w/Michale Graves on vox) for a mere $71,000.
