I didn't see any hissy fit. I think he just doubts he has much to contribute to a metal forum at times. I hope he comes back, he turned me on to some great stuff Crying or Very sad

If he was bored with the content like a few others were saying, why not just take a break for a little while instead of deleting your whole account (ragequitting) without so as a much as a goodbye?

Yeah, I mean Shawn was pretty much the reason I branched out of metal like 5 years or so ago by recommending Opeth's Heritage and sharing lots of prog/jazz on here. We had a lot of tastes in common. His presence'll be missed.

But yeah, I do think it's a bit silly to delete the account. Maybe he thought he didn't really fit in as a administrator of the board anymore?

Here's my two cents on Shawn. I like him quite a bit, but I think he doesn't like to be challenged. I've always felt like he tried to be that guy who always wanted to be the smartest guy in the room. Having said that, I liked what he brought to these boards. I enjoyed many of the movie threads we have in here. We both had a hankering for low budget independent pictures that hardly anyone has heard about.
