So the random Joe who earlier today opened a crow-funding campaign to "help Patriots pay the $1M bill" (with $12.5K collected within a day!) now have also started "Help rebuild Nepal" campaign too... he/she is clearly winning the prize of the most blatant internet rip-off of the century award.

How is this a scam? If people are stupid enough to donate, they deserve what they get. I'm not usually one to go quoting proverbs, but this one seems apt...

Well, I certainly hear you and I'm baffled at the amount donated so far. Although one has to draw the line at some point, else by this logic most if not all scams can be justified and blame put squarely on people for "not doing their homework" which is not very fair, I think.
