2013 March Madness Tournament

My Belmont upset pick isn't looking so good right now.

And as usual my company is all over the advertising of the tourney. THis company isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

and so far I am 10 for 11!

I took a major hit with Harvard beating New Mexico. I should know better than to listen to all the pundits who loved The Lobos.

I didn't even make it to the weekend games before my brackets were a mess. Between Harvard over New Mexico and LaSalle over K-State, mine are already a disaster.

And I guess this tournament vindicates those who have said the A-10 was the best conference in the NCAA this year. Not only did they get 5 teams in (SLU, VCU, Butler, Wichita State and LaSalle) but so far they've won all their games with LaSalle winning twice already.

Almighty Georgetown lost to a team making their first appearance in the tournament!!!!

My bracket is whack with the Gtown and K state losses but I also root heartily against Georgetown so it's a happy day.

i have to say even though it hurt my bracket it was nice to see them lose. I remember all those years Princeton use to come this close to beating Georgetown and then lose but it was great to see them get bounced. But then again - I dislike most of the Big Least.

Michigan is putting the boots to VCU so far.

I have picked 29 of 38 right so far. What a reversal from last year when i couldnt do anything right...

And I love it.
FGCU are from my parents' neck of the woods so they know the whole backstory about how this little school didn't even exist prior to 2003 and are now the first 15 seed to make the Sweet Sixteen. I think it's great.

seriously. That is what makes the tournament my favorite event - once you get in you dont know what will happen.

I've never had my bracket totally destroyed so early before. Sure they always end up busted but usually not until the Sweet 16 games. Holy crap, the upsets this year started early.

So now I'm an FGCU fan. Besides always pulling for the underdog, this team is just fun to watch. I love their slam dunks.

I am holding my own. I picked the entire Midwest Region correct so far and only have 2 wrong in the East.

Since I couldn't find anyone running a bracket at work I just created brackets at all the national sites like Yahoo, Si, ESPN, CBS Sports etc. Since they were all free I was able to create multiple brackets including "upset brackets" and still my brackets everywhere suck.
