Brother, u don't have to sell me, I'm converted. Just sent a link to a Canadian buddy of mine - he'll lap this up. The production is briliant, so you've put a lot of bucks into this: man, I wish you the best - for what's worth, I love it. Real Sabbs meets Sknys and a ton of other influences bursting out.

yeah, but as you say, different branches. is every branch on a tree the same? sure they are made of the same stuff, but they are definitely shaped differently.

I agree with you, they are not "the same" but they both come from the same basic source and there are many bands that straddle the line between the two.

I love Kyuss . I remember when they first hit and were called the band that would save metal by a lot of critics. Then I was watching headbangers ball with some metal friends and when their video came on they hated it and demanded the channel changed. Funny thing was I guarantee not but a few short years later with the right promotion they would've loved it. So many acts that could've easily transitioned into the Lollapalooza era that just got buried by the earlier marketing they were given. Of course with these guys they did the smart thing with QOTSA.

Need to get some of that Iron Claw.
