The reason I love Gates Of Babylon is because the scale it's constructed on. It's a rather tricky neo-classical confection which was really unique at this time.
Blackmore's Paganini on LSD guitar solo is another highlight.

This is a very tough question, but I have to go with "Stargazer." The drumming by Cozy Powell on this one is second to none. It makes the song much more powerful.
