PEGAZUS Return!

Australian power metallers Pegazus have reformed and have a new album in the pipeline: In Metal We Trust.

The first video is up on there and youtube. I'm kind of undecided, actually. I've enjoyed their earlier material, and whilst this continues in the same vein, IMWT as a title is flirting with parody for me. I'm hoping the music will be stronger. Looks like they'll be doing some European festivals later this year.

Is Danni back?

I have their BREAKING THE CHAINS album -- fun listen but nothing that made me wanna rush out and buy all their other stuff.

When I reviewed the disc for Detritus I said "By the way guys, Don Dokken called, and he wants his album title back."

I once met their lead singer in Germany, without knowing it was him! I had all my Savatage stuff with me to get signed backstage, and while Jon was looking through all my vinyls, this skinny dude with loooooooooooooooooong hear was very eager to see my stuff also. Turned out it was Danny Cecati, and he was probably roaming to see if I had any Pegazus albums there for him to sign. I didnæt even know it was him until later that day!

Unfortunately not. He's by far my favourite singer for Pegazus.

That is correct! Symphony X was there also.

That is correct! Symphony X was there also.

I was their too. I remember PEGAZUS were late from the airport and they came in a mini bus and they went nearly straight on stage after that. Great festival. Even the singer of STORMWITCH came on stage to sing with HAMMERFALL.

That is really cool, Krokus! I didn't even see Pegazus, as we came to the event just as they finished their set. We came directly from Wacken, so that was my second Savatage gig in 3 days!

Ohhh, thats a shame because they were very good. Did they not play in wacken that year???? or if not they were coming from a diferent festival before they played at ROCK HARD festival if i remember right.

I do not think so, but i might be wrong. At least I never saw them at Wacken, then again it is impossible to see all the bands at Wacken!
