A forgotten Megadeth gem, one of their eeriest songs. Anyone else pick a strong vibe of "Abigail" era King Diamond in this?

I think the song is about a witch. Not the Blair Witch, either.

Overall, I'm neutral on the song as a whole, but I do like the prog-like shift from about 2:00 to 2:54.

A great song indeed. I'd never really thought about the Abigail vibe (after all, I discovered King Diamond a few years after Megadeth) but now that you mention it, I can see where you're coming from. Definitely one of the stronger cuts off SFSGSW, which is probably one of my least favourite 'Deth albums.

It's probably because Dave was really influenced by MERCYFUL FATE.

clearly the song is talking about Halloween, and totally breaking your diet by eating like a thousand of these and getting grounded because then you don't want dinner for like 4 days.

It could be about Minnesota in a dead lady, you don't know, noone has ever been to Minnesota and we can't even prove it's really there. It's probably a dead woman, some strange interdimensional anomoly a'la Silent Hill.

Great song off a great album. Never really caught the Mercyful Fate connection but I usually miss that stuff anyway.
