I was looking at Scott's Sabbat page here, and something I noticed.

He says that he recalls vividly when History of a Time to Come came out, which was in 1988.

Yet he also claimed Mourning Has Broken was his first exposure to Sabbat.

Just something I couldn't help but notice...

Well he can realize an album has been released but not hear it. Like me and that Airbourne band.

I can remember when it came out, AND when I first heard it. The first time I met and talked to my best friend he asked me if I had heart Sabbat, and I said "of course", thiking he was talking about Black Sabbath..... I was totally blown away when he played me this album a few days later!

But Scott claimed he and his metal buddies were all enthralled with it, and this was in 1988. Yet he claims his first exposure to Sabbat was Mourning Has Broken, a 1991 release?

I agree with you that Sabbat's swan song is unfairly overcriticized.
