Never knew this guys where forming a side band together:

Josh Homme-Dave Grohl-John Paul Jones Supergroup Set To Make Live Debut

Them Crooked Vultures, the collaboration between Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme, Foo Fighter Dave Grohl and former Led Zeppelin multi-instrumentalist John Paul Jones, are set to stage their first-ever show this coming Sunday.

The show will take place at Chicago’s celebrated rock club Metro.
Tickets will be on sale via Etix starting Thursday morning at 10 am (US time). The show-time is listed as midnight on Sunday, August 9.
Them Crooked Vultures are also recording an album in Los Angeles.

Crooked Vultures seems like an ok name. Doesn't need the "Them" portion. Eh, whatever. This could be an interesting collaboration. I'd be willing to give it a listen.

I don't think it's a huge stretch...I mean, Foo Fighters, QOTSA and Zeppelin are all Hard Rock bands...Dave has guested w/ QOTSA before...I can see it working...I think Tinted Windows was a stranger grouping...

Them Crooked Vultures are aiming to put out their self-titled, debut album before the end of the year.
Blabbermouthis reporting that guitarist/vocalist Josh Homme has said of the actual release date:
“We’ve been doing a lot of stuff real kind of secretive, and we
actually made a pact to not know when it’s coming out, the band guys.
I’m betting… Well it’s going to be before the end of the year… We kind
of have a little running bet on what the date is. And I intend to win
that bet, because I’m going to cheat.”
That’s cleared that one up, then.
The album will be available on Sony/BMG everywhere, except in America, where it will be on the Interscope label.
