| In case some of you missed it the first time (and because I actually worked the files up EVEN BETTER):  Stryper's debut album, The Yellow And Black Attack originally came out on the Enigma Records label in 1984 on cassette and vinyl...it wasn't released on compact disc until 1986. However, the 1986 re-released compact disc version was a complete (and FAR inferior) remix. The 1986 version is the only version still available. In the spring of last year, I was given a decent cassette to cd rip of the original 6 song mix from Luke over at Stryper.net. I added the two tracks Stryper recorded and released in late 1984 (Reason For The Season/Winter Wonderland single) to bring the band's entire 1984 output together and immediately set about remastering it. I was quite pleased with the results of my work and figured this was historically important enough to share. Which is why we fans hated the re-release so much. Why on earth they never saw fit to release this version on disc officially is beyond me! |

Yeah...I remastered You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll and Stay Hungry...both of which are WAY better than the official remastered versions. I don't have 'em as mp3s, though...I didn't keep my remastered wav files, all I've got are my cd quality 256 kbps iPod/iTunes files (aac/m4a). |

| Hello,Is this link still available? I was sooo excited to find it, but it says internet explorer cannot access the site. I used to sing Stryper with my daughters when Reason for the Season came out. She just told me she has been looking for this and I thought it would be a great surprise for her.....if the link worked for me. Thanks for the help. M |
