There's something frightening about that chick the way she dresses and looks sure she deep down would look beautiful if she dropped the make up and her horrible costumes. But what I really find frightening about her is that she looks completely trannie like and very artificial and I am starting wonder if chicks will follow start following her looks and will look like her in the next decade (2010's) eeww yuck what a horrible thought. Not only she looks so sleazy I mean sleazier than a ice addicted prostitute.
I mean you look at all those movies that were around particularly in the 80s that were set in the future and show the negative predictions like having chicks in those movies Blade Runner is an example that look completely fake well I am now seeing it coming with Lady Gaga.

I wouldnt let her ride on my disco stick even if she had a bag over her face. Shes butt ugly.

My gf just bought her cd the other day too. Its annoying as hell. What pisses me off even more is how out dated the music sounds but yet when people hear metal bands its always this sounds out dated.

The first time I saw Lady Gaga on TV I thought she WAS a drag queen. Imagine my surprise when I found out she was indeed female. Coulda fooled me.

I'd say it's all about camp.

She's very self-aware and knows she looks something somewhere in between ridiculous and "80's-old-school-retro-robot-superwoman" adorable.
And part of this act is to carry that look with pride. Some may ask if she's wearing that stuff as a joke to which she would answer that no, never. I mean, if you are joking and doing it for entertainment to people, the worst thing to do is to reveal and specifically say that you are joking.

I think she at the same time knows how awkward the 80's future style looks but still truly loves that image and style. It's at the same time a parody of that style and an ode to it. But admitting that would water the whole thing down.

Things like this are best when one is self-aware with it but not talking about that self-awareness.

I mean, camp can be done right and it can be done wrong. The wrong way is to wear ridiculous stuff and do different kinds of parodies but then openly laugh about it and giving the image that "no, I don't REALLY want to wear this but I'm wearing it for the lulz" and "ha, look how funny I'm dressed, lol." The right kind of way is to really look like one really lives that lifestyle and really think that's the coolest thing ever. A bit of cockiness about the subject might help too. Analyzing camp too much takes all the edge off it though.

I think Lady Gaga is doing her stuff very well. I'm not going to buy her albums but I do admire entertainers and she seems to entertain effectively. And she really seems to put some serious work behind her act.

I'm not sure who she is either, but I gotta say, her publicist is doing one helluva job. I've not heard a single note of her "music", but I've been seeing her picture pop up everywhere lately. TV, internet, newspapers, magazines, she's everywhere. The promotions department is working overtime with this one.

You are missing the point I said she is naturally hot but most of the pictures I have seen of her she is truly hideous but that one above of her aint bad.
