| Got another one! Holy Moses - Black Metal Originally performed by Venom! And Cronos did contribute to that cover for Holy Moses, though. So I guess it's a quasi-cover (???). Whatever... |

Good but it lacks the power of Layne's vocals in the chorus. |

| I like both versions for different reasons. I like the original because I really dig Annie Lennox's vocals. But I like the Manson version because it's so darn creepy. _________________ "The banner of loud and rebellious music will never die. It just gets older." - GODSWIZARD

Yea, I thought of that too, just like Mama We're All Crazy Now. Maybe Slade should have hired them to tour for them. I wonder how Carlos is liking his new Ratt "gig"? suppose to be a new album this year. |

| Manson's "Sweet Dreams" cover is one of the few songs of his that I like (the other being "Beautiful People") _________________ "And everybody knows the center of the Universe is Huddersfield. That's why I don't live there anymore."

Carlos is in Ratt? So did Warren DeMartini quit, or they both in the band together? BTW if their next album is anything like their last studio album, they should not bother. |

| Warren's still in Ratt. Carlos took the spot vacated by John Corabi, who'd been playing guitar for them for the past couple of years. _________________ "And everybody knows the center of the Universe is Huddersfield. That's why I don't live there anymore."

| A few of you guys are NUTS with some of your choices, IMO...but since I'm a peace lovin' guy, I won't point to any specifics Here's a few I like:THE MEATMEN - "How Soon is Now?" (orig. by The Smiths) BLACK SABBATH - "Evil Woman Don't Play Your Games With Me" (orig. by Crow) BLACK SABBATH - "Warning" (orig. by The Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation) COWBOY JUNKIES - "Sweet Jane" (orig. by Lou Reed/ Velvet Underground) ROLLINS BAND - "Are You Ready" (orig. by Thin Lizzy - not better than the original, but VERY kickass!)KYUSS - "Into the Void" (orig. by Black Sabbath - again, not better than the original, but VERY VERY cool all on it's own!) |

I did find it interesting that Lou Reed himself has said he prefers the Cowboy Junkies's version than his/Velvet's version. |

Yes! The almost latin groove section in the middle is perfect, as is Josh's solo. |

| One cover i think exceeds the original is the Drones cover of Kev Carmody's "River Of Tears", the Drones take what is essentially a great folk song about the plight of Kev's indigenous brothers and sisters and twists it into this compelling tension laden epic that builds and builds and explodes at the end. This has the same dynamic and atmosphere as the Doors "The End" and is just as compelling and tense, praise not lightly given....... _________________ "...Like a canary in the underground - singing through the gas..."

Yea, I like that addition, two guys capable of leads, kinda of a Ratt trademark. |

| Some claim to like this one better than the original, I disagree, but maybe you guys concur. Twisted Tower Dire - A Dangerous Meeting (Mercyful Fate cover). |
