I just want to tell everyone here what an incredible group of people the guys in Hirax are. Glenn, thanks for the pick, pictures, and the awesome conversation (especially the hockey talk and sharing yor daughter's picture) and for making my first Hirax show an unforgettable experience that I will cherish forever. I can say that these guys are absolutely first class people who really care about their fans and extended me such hospitality and thoughtfulness that was deeply appreciated. Everyone in the band talked to people before and after show at length and carried on meaningful conversations that each fan will always remember. The show was absolutely incredible! I told some of the guys in the band that I saw Exodus a few months ago and that they blew Exodus away. The crowd was into the show from the very beginning and never let up with the stage diving, moshing and headbanging. I will post pictures here soon for all to enjoy.
I also have to mention Katon's wife Anne. What a special and sweet lady she is. If there was an MVP award in metal music she would win it hands down. She really is the backbone of the band folks. She ran the merchandise table, helped setup the drums, took video of the show, talked to fans all night and drove the van on their way to Austin too! I can see that Katon and all of Hirax are blessed to have her in their lives. Everyone in the band was so good to me and I really enjoyed every minute of it. I can't wait to see the mighty Hirax again someday and wish them all the best in the years to come!
