The top 20-50 list is going to be tough because of the great releases and ones I've yet to get. I want the new Brainstorm and Narnia albums but they are only availiable as imports right now.

IMO, 2007, 2008, & 2009 have been great metal years, each one more better than the other.

I did manage to keep up somewhat this year for a change, but I wasn't really blown away by what I heard. The best:

narnia was released domestically by Nightmare with a bonus track for the US version..
