I've always been a (casual) fan of Perry era Journey or at least the hits. However, I've never heard the early progressive pre-Perry Journey (except a song Spec sent me on an older comp swap) because I haven't found the albums anywhere so this will be a different Journey than I'm used to.

unless your like toho and despise Journey, the Greatest Hits is one excellent cd! I will agree with you - the pre-Perry stuff is quite a bit different..
