Just for sh*ts & giggles, let say Joe Perry & the boys decide to get a new lead singer while Steven does whatever it is he thinks he needs to do.

Who would make a good lead singer (both live & on a new studio album) for Aerosmith? Should they go with an established vocalist or an unknown? In this fantasy scenerio, throwing in the towel is not an option. Nor is bringing back someone from the dead. They've got studio time booked and the tour is laid out. Alls they need is someone ...

Obviously they're an acquired taste (or perhaps "tasteLESS" would be a better term, I suppose) but I always found their costumes, their sick humor and their entire "alien space creatures come to devour Earthling souls" vibe totally hilarious.

Their catalog can be pretty hit or miss but they have some pretty sweet thrash stuff goin' on albums like AMERICA MUST BE DESTROYED (their finest, most METAL album) and RAGNAROK.

Been listening to this uber-underrated Jersey thrash band today and wondered if there are any other fans around here?

Even though I'm from Jersey I never really caught up with these guys till they reunited in the late 90s and put out the $AVIOR$ELF album. During their early 80s heyday I was too young to get into the clubs and for whatever reason they didn't even get much radio play here in their home state. By the time I was in college and old enough to go to shows all over New York ...

I just got the latest from the LA based bands Hexen. I hadn't heard of these guys before, I know they have a 2005 releses titled Heal A Million.....Kill A Million. A great Thrash listen from Old School Metal Records, reminds me a bit vocalwise of Tomas Angelripper at times. Anyone heard this yet??-TJ

I'm surprised I haven't seen more talk of this CD around the net. It was released last year and is a superb classic metal/power metal CD. Anyone else have it? Thoughts?

I picked up Incorperated a couple of weeks ago & haven't stopped listening to it yet, it's plenty hard & I really dig the vocals, Is Gus Chambers in any other band? I haven't been able to find much info. How does this album rank against their other albums?
