Aside from myself going off on some dude about AoB and him spreading false information amongst other things... things are really looking up!
May have found a new vocalist, though I won't say who it is yet. The guy is a metal legend though. I am really stoked about it!
I have been writing on and off now for 3 months and getting things so they are back in action again! The new stuff I have been writing reaches new boundaries for me. Faster, more aggressive, extremely dark and ragingly angry! Just how I want it to be!
I talked to the 2 former members the other day. What a shock it was. Eric is no longer involved in metal whatsoever. Works a great job now and is a manager. Shawn works 2 jobs and is playing music just for fun. I was able to let go of my bitterness and anger I have had for them about a year ago and it was just cool to talk to them. No neither of them will be coming back to the band. It wouldn't work these days and with the music industry and the economy the way it is, it is 10 times tougher on members.
On a more sad note, just found out last night that our bassist Chris may be quitting and moving to Texas. So now I may have to find a new bassist again! Musical chairs like this really sucks, but if its for the greater good of the band, then so be it.
I am on fire now and really happy about getting things going again. I know I really needed a break from it for awhile after all the smurf poo that happened.
